All their food is excellent quality and reasonably priced. It's one of the very few places in the area that has excellent ready but home made food.

Bernie is one of the best chefs in Central Florida and the reason I used to be a regular at Nicole St Pierre in Winter Park back in the day. Everything he does here is amazing. His Shepherds Pie is the best I've ever had though its only part of his rotating dinner menu. Each day he makes ONE very special hot meal (check the website for the menu) you can eat there or take to go. They are really enough for two people. Then on his regular menu are things like 10 diff kinds of chicken salad, his own special takes on traditional sandwiches and lots of salads. I work next door at the liquor store and our customers can pop in there and get dinner to go after grabbing a bottle of wine or something for cocktails here. If you are having guests over you can't go wrong with anything on the catering menu too!

My father passed away and my family & I wanted to make sure our mother didn’t have to worry about anything. Bernie sat down with us and discussed menus for the visitation and a gathering at our home after the services. Bernie was very kind and offered the use of his platters and bowls for presentation. The food was absolutely amazing and we extend our regards and compliments to the chef. Thank you Bernie

First time visiting,can't believe we have lived here 7 months and have kept driving by.almost feel guilty for spending money at other lunch spots. Friendly service,lady's were quick to have us sample lots of chicken salad. Our wrap was delicious,large portions,we were able to save some to take home.bakery items looked fantastic as well.

My wife and I set up an order from their catering menu. First off, this was probably one of the best experiences I have had with the food industry. We put the order in the last minute and they were still able to accommodate us. The preparation and presentation of all the food was fantastic! I would recommend their catering to anyone.

All their food is delicious! The smoke ham and cheddar cheese quiche was extremely tasty. Not ever having quiche before now I'm on board and ready to try all flavors.

Really good tasty food and such personal and friendly service, too! I had a pastrami on rye with spicy mustard and vinegar slaw - yum!!! Will definitely eat there again !!!

We catered from here for our wedding reception. The food was a huge hit and everyone had seconds. We are extremely glad that every one enjoyed it and the food was delivered hot and fresh.

The food is absolutely delicious. I had the grandmas chicken salad BLT with a side of the Greek pasta salad. Both were excellent and flavorful without trying to be more than they should be.

The food is fresh and the service is wonderful. I had the traditional chicken salad in a wrap and macaroni salad... Both were delicious and I could taste how fresh and of good quality the ingredients were. They brought my order out to my car, which was very nice since I had my two little rascals with me, and I got a sense of how friendly the woman was who brought out my order - even with her mask on. It seems like a wonderful local establishment and I can't wait to try the other flavors and dishes!

Chicken salad is always great and portions are very good. They also provide take home dinners for a reasonable price.

Everybody should visit this deli at least once. The food is good, home made, and a nice variety of specialties:- Sandwiches and sides.- THE place for chicken salads (dense and a lot of flavors to pick from).- Prepared entrees that you can take home and heat up.I really like the Tuscan salad and my wife really likes the tortellini salad. We typically visit for sandwiches and always end up picking up something else to take home.

What a wonderful place! All of the staff are beyond friendly. The food is always so fresh and delicious. Highly, HIGHLY, recommend! If you're from up North you'll definitely appreciate this place!

Excellent food and drink!

This place is sooooooo good! Their chicken salad is creamy and authentic. Their side dishes are sublime. Don't even get me started on their delectable lemoncello mascarpone cake. The atmosphere is soothing and the people are cordial. I will definitely go to again.

Delicious chicken salad sandwiches. I’ve been here a couple of times and Bernie’s never disappoints. I’ve also had their pre-made dinners and those are also delicious. While not enough to share between two people, you can get some sides to go with it. They post their pre-made dinner menu daily online and you can call ahead to reserve a dinner.

It was phenomenal. A coworker recommended it to me one day, and though I hate mayonnaise and I don't particularly enjoy chicken salad, I decided to give it a shot. It was so good I literally teared up while eating it in the office. I got the chicken Teriyaki on Multigrain, with lettuce, tomato, and onion. Phenomenal. Today my coworker and I talked the entire office into getting this for Lunch.

The best chicken salad around, plus ready to eat dinners & fabulous desserts. One of the best locally owned businesses in Oviedo.

Great food, great customer service! It is like going to eat at grandma's; food is healthy and well-made, fresh tasting each and every time. Bernie and Carol are so pleasant and sweet they make you feel at home! Their staff is very friendly as well; you will never get a bad attitude from any of them. I definitely recommend it; be it for lunch, dinner, or a midday snack. It is Oviedo's best kept secret!

I absolutely LOVE this place! Never have i ever been unsatisfied with my order. Food is always fresh, Breads are plenty to pick from which i like...I have not had the chance to try all the chicken salad flavors since there are so many to pick from but so far my favorite, i must say is the chipotle chicken!! One of the sandwiches many dont know about is the bbq pulled chicken, WOW. ..Just absolutely ridiculous how good that sandwich is. So highly recommend, also the carrot cake is perfected! You must try. Dinners are also reasonably priced!

Lots of great chicken salads. You can sample before you buy. Get there early for meals and desserts.

Outstanding food and service and a pillar of the community. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It might be a bit more than you’re used to paying for a sandwich but it’s worth every penny!

The place reminds me of a homey new york deli. I got the smoked ham and cheddar quiche and wasnt disappointed. I'll definitely be back to try some of the different sandwiches.

The chicken salads are awesome... but.... the dinners are out of this world. I just had two in the last two days and the food simply couldn’t be better. Servings are plentiful and heating up is a couple of minutes in the microwave. Highly highly recommended!!!!

Easy to find, although parking could get tight if it is busy. There are some tables to sit and eat if you like, but in when I was there everyone took it to go. This is one of the best deli's I've been to. Tons of different chicken salads which were all delicious l, making it difficult to choose. The staff was friendly and efficient, and called several of the customers by name. I cant wait to go back and try the sandwiches.

This place is amazing! Full of nostalgia, clean place with sanitizing stations available, and all around great atmosphere! Great beer selection as well. Will definitely be coming back now that we’ve found it!!
